RIYAD BARMANIA

Hello! I’m Riyad. Ever since I was a little kid, I loved telling stories and that's how ultimately I see myself, as a Storyteller. When I tell a new story I want to entertain, inspire and make people think.
I have made 3 feature films and one of them, Ashens and the Polybius Heist was the number 1 film in the UK digital charts for 2 weeks. It also has 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
When not directing feature films I also bring that same passion and creativity to commercial and branded work. I have years of experience working with the world's biggest brands and make truly innovative and engaging work. My favourite comments I receive from work from the brand's customers is, "This is how you do advertising!' I can take a project from concept to execution and understand what it takes to make it a success.

This comedy feature film has won over 20 film festival awards (including 5 best feature awards), was #1 on the UK digital charts for 2 weeks and is currently rated 100% on Rotten Tomatoes.
ANOTHER GAME
A horror short film that has been accepted into 16 film festivals and won 4 best short film awards. It's the story of a group that have signed up to a mysterious lottery with disturbingly high stakes, where their thirst for dominance blinds them to the risk they take.
ASHENS AND THE QUEST FOR THE GAMECHILD
A ground breaking feature film originally released on YouTube. It had 1.5 million views and DVD/ Blu Ray release. It tells the tale as Ashens embarks on a quest to find the legendary and elusive piece of electronic tat known as the GameChild.
ELFIE HOPKINS
I co-wrote this horror feature film that starred Ray Winstone and Rupert Evans that had a theatrical release across the UK and Ireland. It's the story of an aspiring teen detective stumbles into her first real case, when investigating the mysterious new family in her neighborhood.

THE PROXY
A 45 minute sci-fi web-series starring Stuart Ashen, Daisy Head and Nat Parker. It's the story of n evil organisation that creates super powered reanimated humans known as Proxies that want to recover a flash drive containing secret data from Ashens, his neighbour Tom and a unique Proxy.
CRIME FAILS!
A TV pilot made for Kabo Entertainment. It's a family friendly comedy that tells the tails of criminals and their not so master mind plans.
